Stress can be defined as physical and psychological response to internal or external stressor (specific event or chronic pressure that places demand or threat on the person's well-being) (Schacter et. al, Introducing Psychology, 2013). Whether we like it or not, stress is part of the life. At times, the stress serves a useful purpose (e.g. motivate you to mow the over grown lawn). But if you don't get a handle on your stress and it becomes long term, it can seriously interfere with your daily life include work, family , social life and even your health. More than half of American say they fight with friends and loved ones because of stress, and more than 70% say they experience real physical and emotional emotional symptoms . That is definitely a thing deserves our attention. You may want to check out the web sites for free stress test if you like.
